Thanksgiving Day 2017 has now come and gone, as it does every year in November. And all that is left of Christmas is the tree, the lights and all the decorations. Except this time around it feels a little different, perhaps because I'm older and perhaps because I have learned to be more mindful of all the little gifts I receive on a daily basis. Going forward, I plan to practice "thanks giving" with intention every day, not only in November and December, but every breathing day of life's journey.
After reading One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp, I have been intentionally journaling so many things that I'm thankful for and my list continues to grow. This has led me to become more inspired to live mindfully and create from within. New little items will be coming to Pink Clouds in 2018.
We welcome and encourage comments as we want to initiate conversations between people who may think differently from one another. Like so many others, we feel called to be bridge builders, to fight for a world that knows how to lovingly disagree. And that starts when we think, speak and act from a position of love in all things. We don’t all have to agree with each other, but disagreement is not the same thing as hate. And while we will never censor comments based on your personal, political or religious beliefs, we do reserve the right to moderate or delete any comments containing foul or abusive language, as well as those perceived to be contentious, libelous or combative.
So think freely, but please speak respectfully. These are the kind of conversations that we want to be a part of.
